Overview Mission Statement Statement of Faith Our Denomination

 Westgate Alliance Church is a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) denomination.

If you are unfamiliar with the Christian & Missionary Alliance (frequently shortened to C&MA or Alliance), it is a denomination that is focused on big picture theology, rather than dividing itself over theological differences. The big picture theology of the C&MA is being a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and Mission-focused movement.

Christ-Centred The Alliance views Christ through the fourfold Gospel of Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King.

Spirit-Empowered Our ministry effectiveness is in direct relationship to the Spirit’s control over our lives. The C&MA believes in the deeper Christian life through the work of Sanctification.

Mission-Focused Out of a Christ-centred and Spirit-empowered environment will emerge an unquenchable passion to be on mission with God. 

 

This big framework guides us in what we do, but leaves flexibility for a multitude of epressions. Therefore, the C&MA, and Westgate has space for you regardless of past denominational affiliation.
